I have shot this year have had huge wound channels and easy blood trails to follow.
+1. They are great bullets, MZ, TMZ, Barnes Origonals, TSX 45843 all are great MLing bullets.

Chap, I started shooting the Barnes TEZ bullets and they are nice. They are like the TMZ with the aero tipbut without the boat tail.

Oh, good. I know they just came out with them. Have you taken a deer with them? If so, how was wound channel and shoot thru? What weight of bullet are you using? I think they are also a great bullet. Chap

I shot this Button on Friday and cut it up yesterday. The shot was 30 yds. with a 295gr. Powerbelt Copper Aerotip over 2 50gr. Pyrodex pellets. All I saw through the smoke was feet and belly up. The deer was dead when it landed. I caught the top of the lung and bottom of spine. Just a bit high for my liking but effective. I love my new TC X-7.

that bullet was pushed too fast and aero tip too, awful looking mess.

i dont get that kind of damage with my 250-3000 savpushed at 3,000fps.

i would use the pbpalitium ones that are out now or try another bullet that does not look like a 7mm rem mag hit it. that hole looked gastly

Chap, they work just like the Barnes MZ it seems. The wound channel was huge and the blood trail was super easy to follow. We have killed 2 deer with that new Barnes TEZ bullet so far with great results.
