Default CVA Wolf Or CVA Buckhorn

Narrowed it down to 2 the wolf or the buckhorn cant decide probably gonna get it from cabellas they have some good deals going on right now. They both look like good guns so it's really a toss up. Last if anyone has one of these guns how is the kick compared to a 12 gauge just wondering how much difference it is. Thanks

Another vote for the Wolf. I have one myself, and love it. I shoot the 295 grain powerbelt, with 80 gains of 777 loose powder, and hardly has any kick at all.

While I have a model like the Buckhorn and do not find it hard to clean. I guess I would pick the Wolf because of the design and the fact it can shoot the new powders. Also I do not own a rifle like that, so it would fit in my collection better...

I have had a Wolf now for a little over two years. It's easy to clean andshoots well with about anything I want to use. The rifle sights pretty much suck so you'll either want to get some better ones or put a scope on it. As for the ramrod..yeah it's not much better than the sights but buy a nice range rod and don't worry about it. The only time I've used the ramrod that came with the gun is when I reloaded while hunting. So far it hasn't failed me yet but I've only had to use it twice I think.

The ram rod that you get with the gun is just for loading in the feild. For cleaning and shooting at paper buy an range rod they are longer and are made mutch stronger.

with all of the inlines ive shot and owned, all of their aluminum ramrods sucked. They are to noisy in the field. CVA sells that universal flexy ramrod for around $13. Best one i bought and no more having to listen to metal scraping against metal.
