I will check out the Triumph. Is the coated barrel much better?

I have to go with an Encore Pro Hunter. The options are simply to great to pass up. Also, I really like the Burris Fullfield II 3x9x40 with ballistic plex. The cost of the scope (ebay) is very reasonable and the joker gathers a lot of light.

I guess if I could buy any one that I could today, I would buy the Encore. I always thought that the Triumph cost more then the Encore, but today I was at Gander Mountain, and the Triumph was only three something, and the encore was way more then that. I held them both up, and they both felt really good.

Myself, I would buy the Savage 10ML. It will shoot both blackpowder and smokeless. Top it off with a Nikon scope.
That is what I have, with a 3x9 Busnell Elite 3200 scope. I use Barnes bullets in the Savage.

This may be a silly question, but what is the difference between the TC Encore, and the Encore Pro Hunter?

Pro Hunter stainless w/ T hole stock in a 50 caliber. You get a lot of guns for the inital investment. Aetec or a Nikon Pro hunter 2-7. I have both scopes and have not blown them off the guns , clear and easy to use.

I own a Cva Optima Elite stainless with a Bushnell 3200 3x9 stainless.Shoots 1" groups at 100 yards and interchangable rifle barrels are available in many calibers.Bought it brand new without the scope on Gunbroker for $250.Bought my son the blued version on same site equipped with mounts and Simmons 3x9 also new in box for $125.00.As far as i'm concerned, there's no better buy on the market today for such a versatile weapon.

I own a T/C Omega Lam. stock,S/S barrel and it's a great gun.
Last year I traded my T/C Encore for a Savage ML & have never looked back.
The Savage is one well designed ML that is accurate as hell, easy to clean (when you have to clean it),powerfulanda long range performer. 150--300 yd shots are VERY DO-able with practice and the right load.
Oh, yeah and it's priced reasonable too.
