keeping the weather out

RE: keeping the weather out
A thin rubber glove would work.. like the kind in a hospital. A heavy rubber glove would also probably work, but I would hate to tell you to do that with a heavy one. You can shoot through them. A balloon, condom, finger cot, muzzy mit, all work on the same process. Even some handi wrap will work. Just be sure to take that off at the end of the night and wipe the barrel off. Just never put anything IN the end of the rifle.
I once saw a person (no kidding) with a cork in the end of the barrel. He said he always pulls the cork before he shoots. I just hope he remembers..

I wouldn't if it was a very thick rubber glove. I'd use a finger off a latex examination glove like the Doctor uses or a condom (not kidding). Also I seen where somebody uses something called a finger cot (I believe it's called that) not really sure what they are.

I bought a bag of muzzle condoms in a small gun shop a few years ago. They are black in color and also came with nipple covers. Can't remember who made them. If all else fails, a kids rubber ballon will work.
