Default Omega/Nosler Strike Again

Shot a nice big doe this morning. 45 yd heart shot. She did not drop in her tracks, but left a 30 yd blood trail that Stevie Wonder could follow.

Congrats!

It is really something how a white tail can take bullet through the heart or lungs and run like they do.

She did not really run, more like a stumble, then she stopped and fell down dead. Hit a rib going in and the hole through the heart was as big as a half dollar

Yep,,, there are a lot of good bullets for muzzleloaders but none better than the Nosler. They are the perfect combination of expantion and weight retention... I shoot the 300g PP for everything.

Yep, shot a doe earlier this year with a 300 gr NP in .458 cal. DRT!!!

Headed to Illinois next week to do some muzzleloader hunting! Can't wait as I never hunted with a gun in Illinois before!
