Default Going to try something different

Tomorrow I am going to take the Genesis out for another run. But before I do, I am going to get me some muzzleloader 209 primers to see if they make a difference.
I am also going to try some 240 gr XTPs as well as the 300s again. Only have 2 more weeks to decide what I am going to use for bear hunting. I know the 50 GM LRH shoots fantastic with the 300 gr Shock Waves. But I want to try and wring out all I can out of this Genesis.

I should try some lighter loads out of the Genesis. It does shoot 250 grain Shockwaves real well. I have some 200 grain Shockwaves around here. As for bear, I would not be shooting that 240 grain XTP. It would be something big, heavy, and well build.

When Traditions (Remington) had a sale on the 250 grain BARNES EXPANDERS I bought 10 cards of them. I think they would be the perfect bear & deer load out of that Genesis. I will have to shoot some of them and see how well they shoot. Since Traditions used to suggest them for their rifles, I suspect they will shoot good out of the Remington.
