RE: Election day
I can not stress the importance of getting out and voting. No matter which candidate you support and for what reason. The main thing is, the United States of America asked its citizens to voice their opinion on who should lead the nation into the future. They asked who should help solve the pressing problems and issues that effect and concern all of us. This is the American process. So whether your candidate will be elected or loose. The important thing is, we as individuals voiced our opinion. We voted. ;)
Also I am sure glad all of this is over. I was getting sick and tired of the robo calls, commercials, and adds.. :D |
RE: Election day
I voted, of course. Disappointed in what looks like the outcome as of now.
But this is the U.S. We still need to respect the office and the results of the vote- even ifmany of the voters are so uninformed or misinformed that theyboughtthe wrapping without looking at what's in the package. Now,make sure you write/call/e-mailyour Senator and Representative with your expectationon every issue of importance that comes up, especially those where constitutional issues are involved. The Obama media frenzy and special group enthusiasm will surely wane after the novelty wears off. Moderate and conservative heads are likely to prevail in the long run. I expect a Republician revolution in the 2010 congressional races similar to the Democratic revolution of 2006. The tide rises and falls. |
RE: Election day
I voted and not complaining yet.
Va did not send out ballets to the troops until a few weeks. looks like it will not matter. OBAMA WON!!! :(:( guess this answers something I asked on FG site. just hope the gun owner who voted for him is right. |
RE: Election day
I sure hope he redistributes me an old Winchester. I would sure like a 32-20. Surely some rich fellow has too many of them. So Obama should be redistributing them. Tom.

RE: Election day
Obama seems to be in favor of a civilian "army" as well funded as the US military. I wonder what he thinks of the 100+ million man civilian militia that is watching his every move when it comes to our rights. If he truely wants to fund the civilian force like the military force, I could use a few of those black guns for my collection as well as protection. Of course we all know he is one of the best at saying a lot of words without really saying anything so we are left with looking at his "limited" record for how he really thinks, that's what is the scariest about him. He stands for very little of what this country use to be all about. Hopefully he will not do too much damage before his reality sets in and the people realize what he really is all about. Personally, I want more than just his change in my pocket, pun intended.

RE: Election day
I was very disappointed this morning when I learned Obama won the election. His voting record says it all and it scares me!
My oldest son, who's an Army Ranger Instructorcalled me this afternoon and told me how "all" the guys he knows in the Army are very disappointed in the American people who helped vote this person into the highest office and who will now be theirCommander and Chief. I do not wish Obama failure.......to do so, would be wrong for the good of our Great Country. God Bless the USA, John |
RE: Election day
The ones that vote for him.Have no clue as to what he really is,they just want to put him in at all cost, just to prove that Black man could be the comander & chief of what use to be the best and strongest nation in the world.Lord help this nation now.He very well could be worst thing that has ever happen to the USA
