So far, I'm thinking of going with 2 pellets (80gr.) and a 245 ATPowerbelt. I've heard time and time again not to overpower them, so I figured I'd cut back on the charge a bit. It just warms my heart to hear you say you are cutting back on the charge! This will make all the difference on close 20-40 yard shots, with plenty of power to spare out to 120yards:) You may remember the old timers killing Bison with the old 45-70. Shooting a 400-500grain lead bullet pushed by just 70g of powder:) Your load has plenty of wallop;) |
