Sounds like you need a portable winch or maybe a skyhook

We hunt the Clarion and Allegheny River hillsides. Straight up or down. Had a friend try to shoot his deer back up the hill one time! Yeah, it was dead and he kept trying to shoot it back up so itwouldn't slide to the bottom. We use winches and quads and long ropes to get em out. Too old to drag em' up anymore. Especially in the snow and over the Mountain laurel!!

That's what you would need to get ME out. If I ever got down in a deep draw I would just holler back up to throw down a tent and sleeping bag. Oh, and please also throw down some food every week or so.
