MM Outage...

RE: MM Outage...
I know all about loosing power and being on a well and septic system. I melted snow for seven days one winter... Good thing the wood stove worked. its good to have you over here...
As some might not be aware, the main server for MM was out of Houston Texas. After IKE went through, that kind of slowed things down. But it is my understanding that they site had a back up run before the hurricane, and they are working now to get it back up and running ASAP. Thanks for the patience.

Welcome to the forum DP. I've been through a few hurricanes and surelyknow the joy of having electricity returned. We were without power for almost a month after Katrina.

And you deserve everything you get. People say I own lots of rifles.. I don't hold a candle to Sabotloader. So he can not blame me anymore for his collection. I am sure his wife is a wonderful considerate woman who has every right to get after him...

I keep a generator around for power outages I can charge batteries and use inverters power my wood stove and run my pump. It doesn't do everything but at least I can stay warm and have some lights and my toilet works.
