This will be a nice gun for my kids to shoot when they go with me.
Mostly my soon to be 13 year old shadow, she goes wherever I go and when with me she has no fear and will try anything.
She shoots the crossbow better than I do.
I'll bet she claims this one as hers as soon as it comes in.
195g Barnes Expander MZ with 60g of 777 or 45g of Blackhorn and you got your sweetheart a sweet gun. Amen for both---the closeness of your daughter and the new rifle--good choice for a new person.

I think I would really like to have a 45 also, but out west they are not a legal for hunting (unless you shoot a full bore conical),So the 50's will have to work for me...

Actually a .45 is legal in Arizona and I think we are "out west". I know that several western states do limit to .50 but not Arizona. I do have one .451 White although I hunt with a .50 so far (when I can get drawn that is - not this year).

Sorry about that I forgot about Arizona... probably should have limited that to the Pacific Northwest and a few other states around us.
