FYI
You can cut off & use the fingers & thumb of latex exam gloves along with a rubber-band to keep rain & snow out of your barrel. The projectile will shoot through.
Good luck hunting all you all.

I think that would work.
Baloons,tape.
Someone today sugested that drug stores sell the finger condoms,I'm going to check that out
I just got a pack of ones that TC has out that are just a round sticker with two wings on it,works good and it has that TC logo.
I usually get whatever is on sale

One other suggestion though. If it does get rainy, you need to take off whatever you are using at night and dry and oil the end of your barrel. If you leave it overnight and there is some moisture that got between the barrel and what you are using, you can get rust.

Cheap barel condoms - Gee I thought this topic was going to be about SAFE SHOOTING.
Personally, I never use them. I prefer usinga bare barrel. But if I were to enter a strange wet woodland, then I probably would use some form of one. I prefer to just cover the hole with elec. tape.

3M electric tape. Keep a roll in the pack and/or a few wraps on the barrel as a "spare".
The 3M sticks very well, is tougher than a ballon, saran wrap, or any kind of latex condom thingy. It will not come off in sub zero weather like a lot of other cheaper electric tape does.
Large bores like a 50 cal ML I make an "X" over the muzzle then wrap one wrap around the ends to hold it all in place.
Cheap insurance to KNOW that nothing is in your barrel, and it will NOT affect your point of impact at all..............
