Make yourself 4 or 5 bags of different size from old blue jeans or similar cloth, doubling up on thickness would be nice. Fill them with clean dry sand an fergit awl dis nonsense. :D

A cheap and easy recoil absorber that I use at the range is an old bath towel. Folded with 4 layers, hang it over your shoulder. takes the bite out of hot loads w/big conicals.

i shoot with no bags on my led sled. i like the way it adjusts and takes a little sting out. works great for me.its a nice step up from sand bags.

ORIGINAL: saxman1 I just got back from Gander Mountain I took my Lead Sled Back,When in doubt,throw it out. I will get some bags like have been pictured earlier in this post and absorb the recoil myself. I looked for rings and bases for my new CVA and they didnt have squat Hardly any choices for 45 cal bulletts either,no BH 209,no Blackpowder Thats a big store for a whole lot of nothin. Went to the archery dept to grab a few things,it's all for right handed shooters,so I went to look for clothes and boots,nothing for a guy like me almost6'8" and wear a size 16 this is discrimination.I get tired of all internet shopping just to find out it doesn't fit and I have to send it back and try again. OK I feel better now |

Wow! You don't usually see this kind of bickering on the ML forum. I haven't read this postsince page 1 because the topic didn't interest me, but when I saw 10 pages I had to check it out. What a waste of time reading all of that. I hope everyone works out their differences and finds a way to get along.
All of this typing should have been about range reports and new purchases. Lets get out and do some shooting. |

Sure Lead sleds CAN cause problems, Flinching is a whole different problem, Flinching comes from the fear of missing
