I talked a friend of mine into buying this ML'er, his dad has an FFL so it seemed easy for him to get it without any extra fees:

Can anyone say anything good, bad, or otherwise about CVA flintlocks? Seemed like a good price, I told him if he's not happy I'll buy it from him after PA's flintlock season.

looks like a hawken, excellent find and price! Own many cva sidelocks and they are all great shooters. If you have any issues with the frizzen not sparking, i know a guy who charges only $20 and does a damn good job at hardening the frizzen. Use 5/8" tom fuller flints wrapped in Thin leather or a lead sheet.
