Default 250gr saber tooth

tops 2, 80gr RS, 25 yards.

Middle, 80gr RS 50yards

bottom,80gr RS 100yards, expanded to the size of a dime.

Notice that all of the gas seals stayed attached to the bullet. Even the 100 yard bullet! Bad design and more than likely the reason why some people do not get accuracy from them.

70gr RS would be best if you were hunting an area and knew your shots would be in the up close and personal range on out to 75ish yards.

Important finding that the sabots stay on. They look pancaked out to me on some of them, which is not good in my opinion. Why were U shooting them? Just wondering? Chap

Had to resight in my brothers CVA Hawken "Yep just like yours corey!! lol" and thats all i had for his rifle. They load pretty hard but it was still doable and they got us on sight. Should be close to the same impact area when he goes back to the Powerbelt.

300gr Sabertooth shot with 90gr 2fg 777 into a belistic gel block @ 60yds
base came off just resat the bullet in it for pic.

I have never had a Sabot base stick on one Useually find them 25yds - 30yds down Range

The Saber Tooth Conicals I was shooting the other day all shed their bases perfect actually. I am kind of surprised to see that they held onto them that way. There was no glue or anything on them was there?

no glue or anything. I was thinking about taking a movie of the shooting tomorrow and see if my brother has a program to slow the speed down so we all could see.

Thats why most of the bases are all torn up. from the sand and being crimped by the lead when they mushroomed.
