RE: is looks worth the extra money

Depends...Are you going to scope it??

I see guys all the time buy a $5-600 deer rifle and put a dang $89.00 scope on it...

I don't own any camo guns, including my 12 gauge for turkeys, and I do kill turkeys...So, no you don't need it camoed for function...

Now, this is a hobby, I never owned a factory made side hammer muzzloader...They don't do it for me,
I own 1 customs...

So...If you are going to put a scope on it and you are on a budget the $130 savings, plus say another
$80-$130 or sowill get you a decent scope...

Make sense???

RE: is looks worth the extra money

i am on a budget but after years of buying junk and not what i wanted i made sure i had the cash. when i did my budget i came up with 529 for the triumph which is what it retails for at gander.
I found it for 465 which is the cheapest. i budgeted 350 for the omega bdc scope. both in camo.
I found the scope for 220
i will not put a cheap scope on the gun. i do not think taking the 100 or so difference will be well spent in a different scope. i think the omega will be more then what i need. and everywhere i read it gets from 4.5 to 5 out of 5.

I have the money but i might not for a few years to buy another.
only thing i can think to spend the money on is a 3d target.

I have around 2000 for my budget for everything including the triumph and omega scope.
i know there is no reason to buy camo as far as practicality it is more of what i like then anything.
I will tell you this i have bought cheap blinds cheap calls cheap scents.
Heck cheap anything i will no longer throw my money away on junk. that is why i have bee saving for the last 5 months.
If i can not get a good product it will go on next years list.
I know that the camo does not make it a better gun jsut looks.

heck with only being able to kill a buck during gun season and a doe or buck during ml season at best i get one more doe. since i can not get more then one buck and i will hold off on the buck tag for my bow due to the contest.
So i have wondered if it was even worth buying a ml. but i think over the next several year it will
