ORIGINAL: Semisane

It does not work in all inline rifles and will not work in sidelocks.. Hope that helps you avoid the temptation.
The only in-line I have is the Mustang. PLEASE, someone tell me it doesn't work in a Mustang.

Dave; I wonder if that powder would work in a knight bighorn with the red disc conversion?

I can not say for sure, but I would guess it would. My Disc with the orange primers worked just fine. What style breech plug does the Bighorn have?

WOW - that's some great shooting! I would be very impressed as well. Here's a question, has anyone said anything bad about BH209 yet? Other than the fact that it is expensive and hard to find. I am not tempted to buy any, though because it won't work with my type of breech plug. All the reports we're getting about its performance are pretty amazing though - best thing since sliced bread?

So far there seems to be some carbon concerns with breech plugs, but other then that, all I have read are good things. Now I did notice a "carbon type" build up in the breech plug, but I was able to clean it out with Q-tips and patches with solvent.

Dave: Excellent report as usual, I have to get out and try some more in my Omega, hopefully tomorrow

Semi, If you want to send me your Mustang I will do you the favor of trying it for you, If it doesn't work I won't even bother sending it back so you won't have to worry about it. Look at the money you will save

A lot of people have noticed the long pressure peak of BH tends to push the breach plug grease back also black soot is what is left by burning BH.
I would suggest a session after using tape and then check the results. It is a good idea to clean that carbon out when you clean the gun for people that shoot as much as you and me. Lee

I am cleaning all the carbon out that I can see... and I kind of figured that black slim was from the breech plug grease..
