i'm not a fan of 777, i couldn't get anything to group in front of 777. i imediately switched to pyrodex and my groups shrank immediately.

Vertical stringing can also indicate breathing issues when you break the shot.

I'd be hard pressed to think these wouldn't solve most of this problem....

I buy these sabotsin bulk, and the240 XTP's in bulk, it is a DEADLY combo. You can buy the same thing at wally world in the little 20 round plastic "coffin" shaped boxes from T/Cfor much more money per round. Apparently they've changed the color to green, the supply I bought prior to '04 is black.

I've put a lot of guys around me onto this combo with very good results. 90 to 110 grains of carefully measured propellant with a medium seating pressure on FFg Goexhas worked best for us.......

There is your problem, in my opinion, the tighter the sabot the tighter the group, in general. Too easy or not seated well enough or barrel to hot you will get "blow by", which causes inaccuracy. I like that 250 SW group, and I would work that some more, switch to the black supplied sabot instead of the lo-drag or buy some MMP12s and Harvester Black long sabots and try those. A small sabot change can make a HUGE accuracy gain. Best Wishes

I agree, I allways try different sabots before I go to the range if they load easy they wont normally shot good if they load so stiff I want to pound on the that wont shoot good either if you need both hands to shove them down but they will go down smooth then you need to fined the right load and they will do.
