All you have to do is put a name,address and your return address On the box, take it down to the PO and pay for it and off it goes in the mail. They dont need to know whats in it. It does not require an FFL unless you are shipping the NJ,IL, and some other screwed up states.

If they ask whats in it, just tell them Antiques.
The real problem is that most employee's have no clue what a muzzle loader is. You say firearm and they throw up their hands and say they cant do it. Its just a lot easier to say its either antiques or something else.
Last time i shipped fedex the lady asked me what it was. Told her it was 2 gun stocks. She asked about a barrel and i said nope, just 2 stocks in there.

Just be sure it is a pure muzzleloader, and not an Encore or NEF Huntsman or one of the spanish switch barrel actions that can take either a shotgun or rifle barrel because that is a "FIREARM" and you can get in a lot of trouble shipping one of those without an FFL.
