I' d use a big heavy conical bullet. I' d also forget about the 150 grain thing. 100 - 120 is plenty. Just wait for a good broadside shot.

Try 100 gr. pyrodex and Power Belts in my CVA firebolt I get very good accuracy. we can' t use scopes here either during the muzzleloader season. I prefer the 295 hollowpoints. good hunting .

I used my CVA firebolt ultramage last season with 90gr triple 7 and 245 HP power belt bullets with exelent results on whitetail at 18 57 and 122 yrds.

I get excellent accuracy with my Magbolt using 295gr Powerbelts and 90gr of Triple 7. I' ve also used 95gr of 777 and get good accuracy with a little more velocity.
