RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
ML -Any thoughts on when the redesign might happen?
Just got UC's KRB - wanted a dedicated sabot shooter to go with my Whites. One range session wit 2f T7, shockwaves (200, 250, and 300)and 300gr XTP Mag's- its a shooter! Would like to try the BH209 when possible. Thanks Steve |
RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
MO i think it would be foolish not to buy with the kodiak pro. Laminated stock, stainless barrel, a rifle where you can actually use the sights "krb is designed for a scope" The kodiak is just as easy to clean as any break open.

RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
Have you checked out an Encore?
I didn't care for the Omega. I also have a Knight Revolution II. It's a great rifle... However if you have the cash for an Encore... |
RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
Does that Mom & Pop shop have any KP1 Knights? Price? Great price on that KRB.
Steve, I guess that scope base worked out for you? |
RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
Yep - had bad rings at 1st.
Put anither set on and everything I shot was 3" or less at 100yds (as good as my eyes and trigger finger allows).:D Steve |
RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
UC, a local gunshop in my area has ONE in stock, $480.

RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
The KBR 7 seems to be the better deal...I will head to Bass Pro to see what they have!!

RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
I really like the KRB I pickedup around March. Got it from Sportsman's Warehouse in Layfette (SP?) Indiana. Black stock/blued $219+tax. Topped it off with a Nikon Pro Staff2x7x32. I haven't got to shoot it but once, I just retired a couple of months ago and have this damn pain the my rear.....(not my wife.) A nerve problem. They have me going to therapy, it's workin but is a long process to feel better. Haven't been able to shoot anything but 300gr XTP's in the KRB. They shot fine but my pet load is a Barnes Expander MZ.

RE: New muzzleloader.....HELP!!
I know this may spark a lot of controversy, but I think the only problem is that they are all inline and not traditional.

ORIGINAL: DMShook I know this may spark a lot of controversy, but I think the only problem is that they are all inline and not traditional. I doubt it I'm new to MZ and own two, both inlines. From alot of the posts I've read in this forum there are a number of guys that own both inlines and traditional. Some day when I find a deal I'd like to try out a traditional. |
