I forgot to mention that i had to swab between each shot or else the second ball would get stuck half way down the bore. 2f is horrible for my flintlocks, especially with the GPR's .018 patch. I do love how the 3 shots were touching but for hunting, i need to be able to ram home a second load ASAP.

With 3f in the Kentucky, i can shoot all day long before i start to feel the fouling. I'll buy a couple pounds of 3f goex and give it a try in both rifles.

My findings are the same. I now use FFFg exclusively, both flintlock and caplocks.
