Need to know if any of you have tried shooting conicals out of their 1 in 28 twist Gm barrels, How did they shoot and what conical did you try ? Thanks, Steve

I have shot conicals out of my GMB 1-28 but at this point will not recommend a conical for it. I have not found the perfect conical for the barrel yet. The Bull Shop 460 grain in .503 is pretty close, but I want to do more testing with it. I was shooting them with 80 grains of Pyrodex P. I also tried some 500 grain Bull Shop which did real well, and some UC Short Mags 450 gr which did not do as well as the others. It was a long time ago when I was shooting conicals out of them. To be honest, when I want conicals to go down range with perfection I get out my Whites...

I shoot the Bullshop 445gr U C Short out of my Knights and they all have 1:28" twist
and they shoot Excellent , would not be afraid of taking 150yd shot with it at all.
