RE: Primers ...
Each gun can be funny about different load combos, including primers. I've had bad results with my CVA using Kleenbore primers - I couldn't get it to group consistently - lots of flyers. I then tried the standard Fed. 209A shotgun primers. These were more consistent but group sizes were nothing to write home about - in the 2.5 inch range with a variety of loads. For me the Winchester 777 primers have worked the best, shrinking groups to the 1.5 inch range. They're expensive though....

Semisane
It was only 50 yards , with my eye sight and open sights it would be pointless to try at 100 until i get a scope . We can only use 1x scopes here in Utah . |
RE: Primers ...
I like the Winchester W209 or the Remington Kleenbore. Both seem to shoot about the same for me. Although 90% of my rifles are set up for #11 caps.

RE: Primers ...
Someone fill in the blanks for me, please...
"CCI 209 primers burn cleaner than _______ ?? I may have to try some in this KP1. All I've used so far have been Winchester W209 and Rem 209-4. |
