RE: Length of 209 primers
Drill outthe breech plug and use 25 acp brass than you can custom fit it to the gun and eliminate blow back. That is what I did with my encore works fine now.

RE: Length of 209 primers
John, I've considered that but lack the proper equipment, the acp stuff, and the talent. HalfNutz, I thought of doing that but think there must be a better way than exposing internal threads directly to the combustion. SL, yes, makes absolute sense and I considered that butit would require a whole new set of datadetermined usingthis particular breechplug. We need some tiny compression seals that fit inside the primer pocket of the plugs. :D

RE: Length of 209 primers
UnderclockedAre you using teflon tape like Sabotloader uses that might back it up a bit and still keep it sealed. I would also call Knight with the diamentions of the plug could be a combination of tolorances adding together and they might just hunt up on on the other end of the tolorance for you. Lee

RE: Length of 209 primers
Not completely like SL uses it, but yes, I overlap the nose and press it down so that it will make a seal. A second wrap there might help. Knighthates me. :D
