CayugaD I seen that same documentary you did. The technology is there and has been there and is being supressed. That should open a few eyes. The supercar program was dropped when it came up barely short of the goal......if you want the answers..as always...follow the dollar...its always about the dollar...

Energy prices are going up also and the power supply is not keeping up. IF there were a large number of electric cars put on the road, where would all the electricity come from?

I haven't researched this at all, maybe there is a simple answer, I just wasn't bright enough to come up with it. No surprise!

LOL You are right......man there have been a lot of people asleep at the wheel in this country and unfortunately the chickens are coming home to roost. Theres gonna be some tough times in this country in the years to come.

I only have one political statement to make so Ill make it quick... If anybody out there actually believes either party is actually working for the people than they need their heads checked!!! Government works for the highest bidder and that aint us... This country is run by corporate dollars...and what we need is a complete and total overhaul. However with so many becoming dependent on gov't and those numbers increasing daily they pretty much outnumber the ones who do care and they will never bite the hand that feeds them...so Id say we are in for some deep trouble.

So what do you think of a lottery system for filling congressional seats? Any native born American citizen with at least a high school education, no felony record, and no serious brain damage or mental disorderwould be eligible - except for lawyers and their staff/associates. Their single term would be 4 years with a one month turnover period to break in the new folks. No lingering benefits beyond those provided any military veteran. Severe penalty (death) for deliberate actions counter to the welfare of the US of A.

We would have to work on the list of offenses that would be stictly taboo but keep it simple, clear, and to the point.

I think they could do no worse and probably one helluva lot better.

When you have a Presidency that has Texas crude oil running through its veins, you are not going to see any relief or help from them.
I agree...so true

Everything is about the dollar. But even more it is about how they can get the dollar out of your pocket and into theirs. You can blame the government, the President, the oil companise or anyone you want to. But it all comes down to GREED.

I saw on TV the other day where they shot a satellite down at 180 miles in the air?? But they can not make a Chevy truck that can get 30 MPG!! HORSE PUCKEY, they can make that truck-they just do not want to!! No money in it for them!!

I was brought up in a Union mining town. Back when a strike was a strike. When the miner's went on strike they shut things DOWN!! This will not happen here. Too much GREED!! I remember in the 70's when the trucker's went on strike. You will never see anything like that again, at least not for a long time. Times will have to get tough first, and times are far from tough. Tom.
