Those patches sound just like mine.... I even used some fiber wads... no help.. Did you see those pic of my patches?

I did get a chance to shoot two PRB's from my newer 54 and at 55 yard they were touching and the patches looked very good - so things are looking up...at least for that gun.

Yeah Sabotloader, I saw the picture of your patches. They were torn up for sure, but at least you had enough remains for afuneral. Mine would be classified as unrecognizable remains.

Oh, I forgot to say "Hi, Mr. Powerbelt". I'm sure you're out there reading. Sorry to hear you are once again incommunicado. Bet you're chomping at the bit to comment on some of this stuff.

That sucks, but I wouldn't give up just yet. If you have time to play around with some more loads - vary the powder charge, maybe try 777 or another powder, you might be able to find something that works better. Keep trying!
