Default range report (yeah right) (pics added

I got a little bit time to shot today. about 10 maybe 15 mins. set everything up. right after my first shot the winds pickup, so I changed plans, 3 total shot (1 230gr (beleaved to be a seirra) tc sure fire sabot, one 240gr cheap shot, and just for fun an .490 round ball with a .015 crisco patch) all at 85grs, into a a bucket of sand that I let set outside all day yesterday which it rained all day. I recovered 2 out of the 3, I'm going to pick some stuff out while I am out to find that last one which is the 230gr bullet (the one I wanted to see).

weather: started out clear no to very light wind, 10 to 15 mins later, rain and hell, wind almost 40 mph, it was just like someone turned on a switch.

I try to get pics up later

forgot to say that I was pushing them with 85grs of pyrodex p

what really shocked me was the 230gr jacketed which I am 99.5% is a seirra tc package them with a really slick sabot they call a sure fire sabot. those things are tack drivers (if I do my job) out of my knight. I am going to try to get out and take 4 more shot into the sand and see if I get the same results.

those cheap and easy sand traps work great dont they?

I've been stuck in the house all day finishing up the GPR. None of the round ball molds i ordered came in I was looking forward to melting down the powerbelt scrap i've recovered. I wanna push those round balls to the limit and see how they hold up.

Hey, How far was the target?
