I tried the lyman peep on a few different m/l and rifles and for some reason I am not crazy about them why I don't know. I have the t/c hunter peep on one of my flinters with a fiber front sight :yep I know it not traditional but it works.I was thinking in trying the twilight peep from Williams but never did get around in buying one.I did open the hole on the peep to .085 and I find for those late shots I have no problems but I don't sit in the woods until dark set in at 61 years old I stay about 15 min: after sun down them all night tracking jobs with a flash light are far gone. The older days would squeeze out the last min: of day light and it get to be when you start see thing move in the woods it was time to start walking out. |

Try Cains Outdoors. They seem to have stuff that no one else has.

RE: Looking For Lyman Sight
Semisane, Did you ever get the peep sight? I have one on my TC Hawken and killed a lot of deer with it using 90 grGoex and Real cast bullets! It came with 2 apertures. One for target and one for hunting.

Yeah, I got one last year Rock Fish. Not the best looking thing sitting on my GP flintlock, but I love it.
