I gone and done it. I cut my trigger finger real bad. has not stopped bleeding for 6 hours. I have a bandaid on it. maybe it will stop by the morning. if not I superglue it lol.

or I could go south paw.

here how it looks with a bandaid.

Looks like you got a good entry wound, but what about the exit - did you get a pass through? How about the blood trail? (Sorry 'bout the cut.[&o])

Ouch.

Try dipping it in warm salt water. Should help clot the blood and stop the bleeding.

When we'd smash or cut our fingers, we'd grab the electrical tape and bind that devil up. I had a friend that carried electrical tape with him almost all the time. Cutting a finger is a terrible thing. I am always cutting them for one reason or another. I hate that. Worse part is, I will be doing something in the shop and never even notice the cut until I come in the house and wash my hands or something. Another real eye opener is when you isopropyl alcohol swab your barrel and find out you have a cut in one of the finger joints when that alcohol hits....

Just shoot your rifle with the second finger. I have sure done that enough. Or wait and heal up.

corey...Here is a tip...Next time pour some black pepper on the cut and put the band aid on, the bleeding will stop immediately...I keep some of this in my boat for cuts while fishing...

Must be the season. I cut my left trigger finger yesterday (on a windshield wiper arm of all things). Lucky I am right handed although I shoot practical pistol from time to time and weak hand unsupported would be difficult at this time. Hope yours heals up fast.

Never heard of this, I will have to remember it. I wonder what it is about black pepper that stops bleeding? I'm assuming it doesn't sting....?
