Default lube suggestion

I look and found the patch I bought from a gunshop on the way to the range. the thickness was not marked so I checked them .015". they are a dry patch. lube is needed.

I have some bore butter

Crisco works very well.

With borebutter or Crisco i just take a little cup, put my lube in, pop it into the microwave and melt it, Dip a stack of patches and let them soak up the lube. Also helps to press down on them to help the lube soak in.

yep, just plain ol crisco. Bore butter and crisco mixed together would make a good lube.

Another thing you may want to think about corey. You shot a number of lead conicals out of that gun with T-7. There's some chance you've got lead in that barrel. If so, it won't likely shoot PRBs real well unless you get all of that lead out.

Ive shot so many lead conicals out of my .45 and it shoots PRB's great. Never used any kind of lead remover in any of my barrels.

Corey---If you are going to use crisco for lube
be sure to get the salt free kind...Or so
I was told this a long time ago...
