RE: The best muzzle loader ever...

I found the knight disc extreme SS black composite online for $239.99. I had thought about the elite but we must use open sights during Muzzie season here. This seemed like a good value for the dollar and it leaves some cash for a scope, powder and bullets. I haven't shot it yet because of the weather mainly but I am confident that seeing as how it is a knight it will be a shooter. Here is where I bought it http://www.finfeatherfuroutfitters.com/FFFproducts/item.aspx?item=19941&Cat=58

I'd buy an Omega stainless, and shoot irons until I could afford a Nikon Omega scope. Sweet shooting rufles, and easy to clean.

Knight KRB
My reasoning behind this is that it will soon join Cayugad's harem, and if Dave has it, (he's very particular) you're going to want it.
He hasn't bought it yet, but the itch is there.:D

If you HAD to purchase a new muzzle loader, but your budget only allowed a maximum of $500, which gun/scope combination would you purchase? For whitetail and hog hunting.
I have a TC Omega and a Bushnell elite 3200 3x9. I paid a lot more than 500 for both of them, but the Z5 and the browing scope would be an excellet set up. Accurate, easy to clean. Chap Gleason

The TC Omega, Warne base and rings, and Nikon/Leupold scope is almost impossible to beat in your price range.

This one if its legal (smokeless)http://www.natchezss.com/category.cfm?contentID=productDetail&brand=BV& amp;category=19&subCategory=19&catLevel=1& amp;prodID=BV10MLIIXP&CFID=6724779&CFTOKEN =46456734
I've never had any other muzzle loader regularly shoot honest 2" groups at 200 yards. Now that I think about it only hadone knight that would do that at 100 yds. You have to put in lots of time developing your load, but my results have been incredible.

WOW, those are some darn good prices! Absolutely, if legal in your area, I'd snag one of those.:D

T/C Omega with a Leupold Rifleman 2-7x33 scope...The Z5 works great but if the budget allowed I'd probably get a stainless barrel and a t-hole stock, all the more cool-looking!
