Lyman. In this particular rifle I shoot a patched round ball. I can keep the rifle in a 3 inch group at 100 yards. This is more than enough accuracy for me. It does make the chicken at 100 yards a bit hard to hit in a shoot off.

I have never noticed any issues with removing the barrel. But I will admit that I normally only remove it one time a year. And that is usually when I am done with it for the year. Tom.
