I would concurr with those readings, from what I have shot from my Omega...

150 grains of T7 pellets is right at 2400fps

WOW!!! those things are really moving. No wonder they do such a good job on animals from the reports in on them.

The 100g value for a 200g SW predicted by the formular given by Zugunruhe here:

http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2577753

was 1984 fps, which is pretty close to the values shot by you. The median value of 2032 is only 48 fps off from what the formula MV = 2518.4* X ** .344, where X= powder charge in g/ bullet weight in grains. Interesting that the formula doesn't use ballistic coefficients or anything, just bullet weight and charge, but it is pretty close to what was shot with a high BC ML bullet.

Bullet BC would not come into play @ the muzzle - it is down range that BC does its thing....

bowbender6 -

Above you wrote that with 148 grains the MOA was 5" at 82 yds. Was that right?

Sounds good to me. Just bought a bunch of 200 grain Shockwaves in the blue sabot. Got to get my Encoresighted for them when the weather warms up..
