WOW...some of these numbers are amazing!

Including all types, I have 10 guns. And that includes the Old Army which is still in the mail.

Guess I better get busy "convincing" the wife

Geez, I don't really know. Quite a few. I have 4 gun safes full of long guns and handguns. I don't know what is going on in there when the door is closed. The other day I opened up one of the safes to do a regular routine cleaning/wiping down of the guns in it and I noticed something different. The last time I was in there I had apparently put my Berreta O/U too close to my 870 Super mag. Low and behold, right between them was a cute litte 870 youth model 20 ga.
Also, when I checked one of the other safes, setting between my Ruger #1 and my Browning Micro Hunter was a Savage 11FYCAK 7mm-08 youth model.
Well at least my grandson will be happy. Looks like I'm going to have to put cardboard barriers between all my guns or I will soon have to buy another safe. They just keep breeding in there when the door goes shut.

My family has always practiced "everything in moderation" well-that and the fact that my dad was a pastor so we were poor That being said we only bought guns that we NEEDED. For a long time I only had 1 shotgun, 1 deer rifle, 1 .22 and 1 ML. Now that my dad has passed on I have kept his old guns-which I will never get rid of.

I'm guessing as I don't know off hand but all together I'd say I have about 20-22 guns.

I have decided that I will only buy a new one if I replace an old one. I have 3 MLs-and will onlyEVER HAVE 3.

1 inline 1/28 .50
1 percussion 1/48 .50
1 flintlock 1/60 .45

That covers all the main areas of ML. I would like one day to replace the .50 percussion w/a .54 to cover all the main callibers as well. I'd be set for a long time in that case.

Hm. Most of you are more courageous than I am, or perhaps more "trusting". Even if I owned a gun, and I don't (I just borrow mine), I don't know that I'd give details in a format that will be out there forever. (on the internet)

ever heard:

"I'm from the gov'ment an' I'm here ta hep ya"

Anyone notice how quiet our forum friends from North of the Border have been on this post?

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Dang things kinda scare me.
