I really do appreciate the concern from all. I have often thought of how isolated a life I lead, living in the middle of a national forest alone with an old dog. And I admit, I do some crazy things that could get me hurt. Although I would not have it any other way. I will admit that while my computer was down, I never realized how much I would miss the internet and interacting on the forums. So I don't want any of you to think that I am not impressed and gratefulwith the concern members of a forum, people whom I never met in person, show towards other forum members. Perhaps humanity is alive and well.

I think you need a back up computer so we have no more such incidents

cayagad, I know what is like to have a computer go down. I had them go down because of user error and well humm not really user error. I been down at long as a month before. I have a laptop as a back up.

I mentioned that to my brother when he was up.. since he owns a computer company. I told him if he takes a good one in on trade, to just keep it for me and not tear it down.

We have 4 in the house My wife has one and a laptop My son has a laptop and I got the old one I also have a dsl wireless link which is nice
