I just got gas, $49 in my little s-10. then went to a gun shop to pick up my .30 cal bullet for my 30-06 (serria pro hunters, $24 for a box of 100) and some remington #11 for the ML. I bought some last month. $4.50 per tin, today almost $7[&:]
. I am going to see if the cci magnums are going to be any cheaper. if not, save up and get bulk, be cheaper in the long run with how much shooting I am planning on doing

I filled my truck this morning before the $100.00 / barrel could register at the pumps here in Northern/Eastern Ontario.
55.99 Li @ $ 1.027 / Li = $ 57.10 Canadian
Parlayed into US gallons that is 14.69 Gal @ $ 3.89233 Cdn/ USGal
Moose hunting this year is going to be expensive if it stays that high (1500 miles + round trip). The only thing saving us right now is our Looney is at par + /- withthe Greenback. Once it dips as surely it will. cha ching

My Duramax has a 80 gal of deisel capacity. At $3.29 a gallonaround here that is scary. But I think we better get used to it. They now have us thinking that gas at $2.75 a gallon is cheap. Us old retired folks see our pension checks getting smaller and smaller. On the other side the word pension is disappearing from the companies vocabulary.

Everythings going up! I work in the food business as a rep and have seen very, very significant price increases over probably the last year and a half or so. I'm not sure if it's the oil prices/gas prices driving it or not but everything is going UP, UP, UP!
As far as ammo, I need to buy a box of ammo for my Rem. 7mm. Paid somewhere around 17-18 bucks for a box probably 3 years ago. I think the latest price I saw was around 27 bucks for the same bullet today and those are just the everyday reminton core-lokt bullets in 150 grains.

I tkink it is terrible how when oil prices go up in Kuwait today. The price in Rivesville, WV goes up tomorrow. It does not work that way when the price goes down. I believe there is a direct pipeline from Kuwait City to Rivesville. I can not think of any other way to explain it. OH YA-price gouging??? Tom.
