RE: what grain are you using on whitetails

For the Omega I used 300 gr Hornady SST, 100 T7 2f, win 209 Primer but have switched to 300 .451 Nosler Partition HG PP w/ 110 gr T7 2f and a 209 Win Primer. (This load is intended for moose as well as deer/bear and is very accurate in my Omega).

My Lyman GPR .50 is strictly .495 PRB over 90 3F Goex w/ 3f Goex for prime.

The Traditions E-Bolt likes 100 gr Pyrodex RS, Win 209 Primer and a .452 240 gr XTP Mag

In my knight wolverine, 80 grains 777 and a 220 grain precision rifle dead center bullet set off by a #11 cap. Great accuracy and incredible performance within 100 yards. Let us know what you go with. Good luck, Greg

100yds being fairly close range, I'd use 90-110gr pyrodex, and a 240 or 300gr XTP. I like 130gr pyrodex w/ 250gr shockwave for mule deer here in western NE in my Omega.
