Thanks Semisane, I thought for sure I had my 1st Muzzleloader deer!!!!!!!!!!![8D] I tell ya I do have to laugh about it though other wise I might get bummed out, I'm looking forward to the morning hunt, 15 degrees and snow showers start around 11 am! We already have a good 5 inches of snow covered with a inch of ice! You can hear them coming down the trail for a mile!

At the end of every evening I either pick out something and shoot it off or back at the house, I shoot it into the steel bullet trap. Clean the rifle and start all over the next day. When a rifle has been shot only once, cleaning them is not really a chore. You do not have to normally water bath the barrel if you don't want to.. just a real good swabbing will do it, then every third day give it a water bath.
