I met a friend at the range siting in his 7mm-08to go boar hunting and he said that he tries tohit them behind the ear ifpossible.

So do i whenever possible:Anywhere on a line between the ear and eye is good. A bullet in the ear does it every time.IMHO: It is kind of hard to doon a runnin hog. :D:D;)

Big bullets,and lower velocity get the job done every time!:DI've shot two hogs with my 44mag. Iuse a hard cast 310gr. GC Bullet with Win 296. That load hammers e'm! High velocity,and pass throughs aren't allways the answer your looking for. The 310gr. cast bullet will pass through both sholders,but it looks like you drove a freight train through there!
