I just want to take this opportunity to wish all of you, and your families a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Please be careful if you need to travel for your turkey dinner at this time of year, roads can be dangerous, and drivers sometimes not doing theirbest. So be safe in your travels.

Also I would like to take this opportunity to remind all of us to keep in our hearts, mindsand prayers the thousands of soldiersaround the world currently serving our Nation. Many of them are currently in harms way. They are not able to be home with their friends and loved ones at this special time of the year. I wish them and their families the very best today and always. I hope they call can come home safe and sound very soon. I am very grateful of the sacrifice they have made for our country, and proud of the outstanding job they are doing.

+1. I was going to hunt this afternoon, but instead I played with a 3 and a 5 year old. They wore me out. I shot a decent 8-pointer on our Monday opener. Now is the fun part of hunting season(meat hunting). I have my Sharp's(BPCR of course) ready to go for tomorrow. It is two more weeks before our BP season starts. I like our BP season in WV. The deer have plenty of time to settle down, and quit often our second rut kicks in.

PA rifle season starts Monday. There are a few big bucks on the farm I hunt. I am looking forward to next week. Happy Thanksgiving, Tom.
