Thank you RH. Yes, he is already an excellent hunter, and knows so so much more than I knew at his age---I really learned to hunt in my 30's, with a bow, and it was several years before I found my "groove". We are heading up to my brother's cabin in NY State the Friday after Thanksgiving for a 3 day hunt, that is always exciting and there are big bodied deer up there. The down side is, it usually is 17 to 24 degrees every AM and warms up to 34 during the day. I like the VA hunting weather, 32 to 40 in the am, warms up to 45 to 50 during the day. Perfect for stand hunting, without freezing your buns off. Chap

Thnk you Falcon. It is an excellentterminal performanceload. I shoot the same load and bullet and sabot and primer in my 2 inlines, a Knight Disc and a TC Omega. It has always performed well, you usually get em if they are hit with the NP, a lot of energy and good opening of the head of the bullet for massive wound channel, this was from a 6 point I shot last year, note the perfect mushroom. The only reason I got this bullet was I took a brisket shot at 35 yards and it shot thru about 30" of deer and was on the underside of the hide by the hind quarter. Chap
