RE: Powerbelt email
ORIGINAL: frontier gander not exactly sure about that. GBO has a few guys shooting 195 grain powerbelts that love them and swear by the performance they do on deer. I still say a 195 grain powerbelt is to small for even a small deer. |
RE: Powerbelt email
195 is way to light at the speed of a ML. you're just asking for trouble. the manufactors are going to cause major problems if they keep pushing, lighter bullets and more speed from ML'S. its to the point now where you might as well use a high power. ml's that shoot 250yds,shotgun slugs shooting 200yds. its just a way to get your money.
it used to be you shot black powder and lead and without many problems. all these new gadgets have produced to many problems. |

ORIGINAL: frontier gander Now if we could get these Magnum charging guys to cut back their powder, they'll start having success with a powerbelt and leave massive blood trails like the one i got with the 225 aerotip. |

RE: Powerbelt email
80 grains of triple 7 is what i used this september. Next year i'll work up a Goex load. Im converting over to traditional stuff now. Except for the powerbelts of course.
