RE: BP shotguns?

If you like flintlocks, Pedersoli makes a real pretty single barel shotgun. I believe it is a 12 guage."Mortimer" is the name of the style.

Unfortunately because it is a Pedersoli, it doescost a pretty penny.

Nobody mentioned Pedersoli. They make a dandy SXS with screw in chokes, not cheap but they work well...Just keep watching the auctions for a used one.

I have the Knight TK 2000 and I love it. It will make a man out of you if you go over 100 gr T7 but it will kill a tom at 45 yards graveyard dead!

Traditions first 12 gauge inline shotgun was based on their Trapper
plunger bolt action rifle and was threaded for Mossberg 500 choke
tubes. It has a 24 inch barrel and takes #11 caps. This particular
shotgun is outfitted with a prototype checkered wood stock that
was a nearduplicate of their plasticTrapper stock. The plastic
shotgunstock wasn't ready in timefor a picture of this new model
to appear on the cover of that year's Traditions catalog, so they
carved an exact wooden prototype for the coverphoto. I was
fortunate to buy thegunat the factory storeasa leftover. It has
verysharp checkering, and I installed an extended choke tube for
easier removal during loading. It's drilled and tapped forscope
mounting and has an orange fiber optic bead sight.

I had a Knight TK-2000 and it was a very accurate & great patterning shotgun. But the Knight stock design & my shoulder are not a match! That thing hurt me every time I pulled the trigger! I tried up to 120 grains T-7 in it, and anything over a 100 grains will definately get your attention! Patterns started to "blow" after 110 grains, but 100 grains provided the best pattern. Sold it to a buddy who it fits much better. :D
