RE: Sighting in @ 50 yds. How high?
Most scopes are 1 click equals 1/4 inch @ 100 yards or 4 clicks equals a inch of movement.......So, if you shooting @ 50 yards you would double it to 8 clicks which would equal 1 inch of movement at the distance. If I'm wrong somebody please correct me.

Sewerdude
You are correct... and16 clicks @ 25 yards for an 1"... That is where I would actually start.... Shoot the bull out @ 25 and you will be really close @ 100... |

Sewerdude actually Iam shooting the 295gr powerbeltsHP's.I know the bad rap they get but I shot 2 deer with them last year and dropped them on the spot(last year I was shooting the 245gr)and yes they did fragment bad but that's why I went to the 295gr.One was shot at 105yds(behind the shoulder) the other at about 15yds neck shot.

RE: Sighting in @ 50 yds. How high?
Well, Got some limited shooting in this afternoon. Loaded the Omega up shot off a round that felt good. Was way off, which is understandable since its a new gun/scope. did some adjusting, shot a 3 round group that was 1 inch right and 2 inches left. Ok, I'm real close now.......so I thought. Swapped the barrel, took another shot, 6 inches low, hummmm. Swapped ,loaded, fired, 8 inches high. Ok, somethings loose! Sure enough, the one piece TC scope mount was loose, could move it up and down. I guess the guys at Cabelas didnt tighten it enough. I knew I should of just bought everything and installed it myself!:DSo, I'll clean the gun up tonight and put some blue loctite on the mounting screws and hit it again. But dang, I was so close. Glad it did it now than during the season
