I own an inline, it's so old that I figure it's almost becoming a traditional gun, by todays standards..And it has not been out of the safe in this century...

Put me down for Traditional

About in-lines: What did Quigley say about the Colt .45 "I said I never had a use for them, never said I didn't know how to use one." That's how I feel about the in-lines. Had em., they were OK, but I like the feel of a sidelock be it a flinter or percussion.
One opinion I do have is if in-lines are permitted for hunting as they are in most states, I don't think scopes should be permitted. I know some states restrict the use of scopes and that's how I feel it should be. Sorry guys - just my 2 cents.

I just bought my first muzzleloader this year..an inline. I think I'm hooked so maybe more in the future? With retirement 6 1/2 months away the thought of building a muzzleloader is starting to interest me.

bronko, I respect others opinions but as far as scopes on a inline, I have to have a scope on all my long guns. Centerfire, rimfires, shotguns, and muzzleloader due to having eye surgery on both eyes. If it wasn't for being able to hunt with scopes I'd be screwed.

Both. But these days the only one that gets any trigger time is my Savage, the others (both inline and side locks) haven't seen the light of day in a long time.

I like diversity, I own and shoot a recurve bow and a compound, I own and shoot many center fires also. As for the ML's, I have a pair of both inline and the side locks, the hawkins I put together from a kit many moons ago. I just like firearms and will own and shoot all types as long as it is legal.
