Default Wolfhound - if you are looking

From a previous discussion....

Shot some 10mm 200 grain XTP's in the MMP Blue sabot yesterday from the White. I did not get the performance that I expected from them @ extended ranges. I really did not think the sabot bullet combinationwas "To Loose" but now I am backtracking - it must be to loose. I even put a sabot (alone) down the barrel and tried to blow it out with a 209 - no go - I can shoot the 12's out with a 209.

In such a situation a gun will always shoot high compared to where it shoots on a level trajectory. How high the gun will shoot varies with both inclination angle and slant range distance to the target. The problem facing the shooter is how to determine how much the impact point of the bullet will change at the inclination angle and slant range distance, and then to adjust his or her aim so that the target is hit. Adjusting the aim can take place in either one of two ways. A hunter will usually aim a little lower for an inclined shot than he or she would aim for a horizontal shot, in order to compensate for the gun shooting higher.
Dang! that is what I meant...

Yeah I kinda wondered. If the fit is based on 3 things, bullet diameter, sabot thickness and bore diameter then as long as the first two remain the same it's up to the third. I've tried them in my Extreme which I know is .503 (doublechecked since I thought it was .502) and couldn't get any .40 bullet to shoot well. Your White is a .504 so I wouldn't think it would shoot. I just measured one and compressed as tight as I could get it I got .501 with a 40 cal shockwave (same diameter bullet).
