Default .54cal inline?

Does anyone make a .54cal inline? Or does anyone make sabots for a .52 cal besides knight?

Knight, Thompson Center, White, and CVA all made .54 caliber inlines. Many of them are no longer in production, but can be found on the different auction sites. As for the sabot question, I think Knight is the only one that makes them since they are the only one that makes a .52 caliber. MMP makes .54 caliber sabots.

Traditions used to have one, I think it was called Evolution or something like that. It had a 1 in 48 twist and could shoot round ball as well as conicals and sabots. I almost bought one when they were closing them out about a year or two ago.

Actually most companies made a .54 caliber in traditional and modern because it was such a well liked caliber, and still is.

Thanks for the info guys. Now I have a place to start.

I am going bear hunting with my family in pennsylvania this year and I want to use my smokepole. I know that my .50 cal would get the job done but there are some big bears where we hunt. Also I just love .54 cals

I have a TC System one with both 54 and 50 cal. the 54 is devistating with a 300 or 350 gr Widner soft point.
I use a 140 ge RS load with the 300gr for deer bear and boar and thr 350 for elk. Lee

Wimuzzleman I have one for sale. Its by Traditions and as dmurphy317 said it will shoot conicals, rb's and sabots very well. It has a synthetic stock and is blued. It also has a red dot mounted to it. If you wanted it I would sell it for 100.00 plus shipping. Excellent gun but all I shoot is 50cal anymore. If anybody else is interested let me know. My e-mail is [email protected] Thanks bdether. BTW it has a 1:48 twist
