I thought shotgun primers were too hot. I'll give them a shot...I am out of the kleenbores anyway....thanks.
By the way, did you decide on the banner? You can find them all day long for $79. I almost bought one but got a great deal on a prostaff that I couldnt go wrong. I think you will be real happy with the banner. Put detach rings, with all the rifles you have and your set.

Im more than likely going to buy the banner probably next month. Looks like a good clean scope that will last a while. As for the shotgun primers being to hot, i dont buy into it. Ive shot 200+ rounds with the cci shotgun primers and they all did great.

Here is a balistics chart based on 1550fps and approximately hitting where you said at 100 yards. I would suggest you shoot again at 25, 50 and 75 to see if your results match the chart. If its not your velocity is off one way or the other. That or your scope height is different. I hope this helps.

Thanks dmurphy. My caliber is a 50. I looked at the hornady calculator but wasnt sure where to get some of the input data. Still trying to figure all this out.
By the way, where are you in NM? Igo to Santa Fe area every year on golf trip. The Indians own some great golf courses and green fees are a good value.

No problem. I live about 40 miles south of Santa Fe and about 25 miles east of Albuquerque in Edgewood. As a mater of fact for any of you SASS members out there, I just heard this week that SASS is moving their headquarters here. They already have moved the Trails End competition here a few years ago. They have a nice shooting facility on a ranch just south west of town. I would love to see them open it up for shooting when not hosting competition.
