It's been around -10 here in Alberta at night.Still 1 1/2 feet of ice on the lakes, geese + ducks back with no open water.Ice fishing for rainbows last night and going out west to put out bear baits on Sunday. No doubt they are still in the dens for now.My 17 + 14 year old boys both want a bear so I guess we're going.Would like to pound one with the .54 but I'll let them have first crack.Shot lots of blacks and am selectively looking for a blond or chocolate color phase.Any excuse to be out doors.............Harold

This is a strange April. We got that big snow the first part of the week, and then last night it snowed again. Looks like the Easter bunny will be easy to track. Good luck bear hunting. Sounds like a lot of fun.
